SADDLE BAG IN ACTION!

Ok, so if you have been following us on Facebook, you know that this week we are spotlighting the Saddle Bags from Clutch NY. So, the Clutch NY team decided we should write our own handbag review of the Saddle Bag and talk about what goes into the design and production of this lovely leather purse. Sound good?  We think so.  So please follow along here.

Why was the Saddle Bag designed?  Well, for starters, Laura Dotolo was inspired by the simple, easy feeling and access of this leather purse.  It possesses a classic shape that is easy to wear and to carry. Adding to this is the bag’s easy in and out access.

All of the Clutch NY styles of  handbags are also designed “deflated”.  What we mean is that they are unconstructed handbags.  This would be the correct terminology, unconstructed handbags. When you carry them and fill them throughout your day, they expand and become more shapely, less organic and drapey.  The Saddle Bags are a perfect example of this Clutch NY prototype.

This style of handbag also brought out the “horsewoman”, “motorcycle”  lady in Laura.  Her own personal style is definitely reflected in every style of leather handbag from the Clutch NY collection.  The Saddle Bag is just another example of her sort of urban-rock n’roll, strong, independent female style.  The Clutch NY team also wanted to say that the choice of the black tumbled cowhide is definitely an intricate part of the design.  Laura chooses a black tumbled leather that is a special weight from one of her select leather resources here in the USA.  This particular leather gives the bag the special feeling that it has when you carry it. You can only know this when you buy the handbag and experience it.

So, where would we wear this leather purse?  Well, for starters, this is an awesome bag to begin your day with, which means, take this handbag to work with you.  It looks great over your shoulder, and spices up any outfit you are sporting for the day.  This handbag goes classic or tailored, it is good for the office, or for the production studio. It is great over the shoulder of a banker, as well as on the shoulder of a yoga instructor.

This handbag fits everything inside of it, including an iPad, a scarf, a magazine, and any little item you pick up at the drug store on your way home.  This bag looks great if you head out to dinner after work. No worries,it looks chic, it has style.  It will make your day that much easier.
