One day, while having a creative concept chat with my colleague Frank Louis, I had a fantastic idea.

I had an image of the new Tek Bag from Clutch Bags being photographed by Frank Louis in his own photographic style; on a really amazing looking model, naked.  The 80’s campaign with Brook Shields popped immediately into my head. “Nothing comes between me and my Calvins”.

What a fun concept that nothing comes between the Tek Bag and the man wearing it, nothing.  And it was all inspired by the photographic style of Frank Louis.

So, I sent Frank an email after thinking this one thru and asked him and he would like to shoot the Tek Bag any way he chose. Of course, he knew what I was looking for and what he as a professional photographer, was becoming more and more infamous for capturing on screen.

So Frank found a great looking male specimen to be the Tek Bag guy and I sent over the new Clutch Bag for him to interpret through his own vision.

Frank loved the bag when he received it.  He told me over the phone that it was so beautifully made.  He said when he opened the bag; he could smell the leather throughout his apartment.  He told me after the shoot that it was the perfect style of bag to have on a nude male.  The model has such a classic form and the ipad bag has such classic lines and great structure.  A wonderful combination for a classic composition.

So Frank Louis is the first artist in a series of photographers I have asked to shoot any Clutch Bag of their choosing in any manner they wish.  Whatever vision they have or style they want to use, they are welcome and have full creative reign.
