White Bright Designer Hand Bags : Clutch Bags says “Keep It Light”

White is not just a color. It’s an attitude.  Take a look, open your eyes.  White is making its appearance in the form of hip and cool.  Yeh!  The color white has finally arrived!  It has taken quite a few years in the fashion journey for white to creep  down to this level;  the no frills street level that is.  Sure, white is nice.  It is pure. It is sweet. It is bridal, first communion,  innocence, purity  and cleanliness.  It is also bright, fresh, and blinding.  It is so very  healing and germ free.  Let’s face it,  it is the king of all neutrals.

At times white  screams RELIGIOUS.

She's got a white clutch bag

At  other times it begs to just be  a sneaker.   There are moments it reads “bathroom” and at times “doctor”.  No two ways about it, white will always  be an ATTENTION getter.  You will have no place to run, no place to hide.  You opt for white, you will be spotted.

Who better to have made a statement in white than Tom Wolfe  and his infamous white suit?  Now here is the perfect example of how white can get you noticed and bring you notoriety.  Tom had no place to run nor a place to hide, but this is exactly the reason he chose to wear it.  He committed himself to his white suit, and so began his trademark that lasted a career and possibly made his career.  No doubt the white suit  aided in him getting noticed.

So, what is the down side here on white?  Well, lets see.  How about you have to be rich to maintain it?  Let’s face it, white gets grungy, filthy dirty  even. So, you either face the music and accept this fact, or you find yourself  paying cleaning bills to bring it back to its original purity.

But wait!  Let’s revisit this “white has gone down to street level scene” again.  Yes, white is here and now wearable.  I cannot believe how cool it actually looks when just casully thrown on as an accent to an outfit.  Yes, I am talking white as an accessory here, a designer handbag, purse or  clutch, a shoe, a pair of glasses, a scarf.   How terrific it is as an accessory!    Times have changed and the vibe on the street is demonstrating to us that white can also just appear as an accent and that is enough.  And you do not have to dry clean it like a garmnent.

There was a time when a white purse meant you were in Palm Beach for the winter and you were retired!  Or white shoes meant that now it was finally that time between Memorial Day and Labor Day and you could officially walk around without a fashion police ticket being pinned to your back.  Now, it is an open fashion accessory scene on the street for color, and white will successfully add that touch to your look.

So ladies and gents, this word from the Designer of Clutch Bags:  go dig in your closets or hit the shopping plaza and find yourself an accent of white to brighten up your already cool look.  Just  be sure and be prepared to be noticed.  But, I think this season, you might just want to get noticed.
