Misami, a portrait photographer and lover of clutch bags, shows off the new leather satchel by Clutch Bags New York.  Designer Laura Dotolo calls it her “scout bag“.

The first thing that struck me when she arrived on a bicycle that warm July day was her candy striped dress.  Wow!  This dress was great.  We were on MacDougal Street in Greenwich Village and the location would be perfect for our fine leather handbags.  So colorful and fun.  She could not have chosen a better dress for herself. And a dress to be on camera with, fantastic!  When I complimented her on her dress choice, she turned to me to exclaim  “ my boyfriend chose it for me today and told me to wear it.”  And a great choice he made.  Bravo to the boyfriend here.

Masami is an accomplished photographer and colleague of mine here in New York City.  She is one of the many fantastic people from New York City that I associate myself with.

I asked Misami to be in my video and talk about my bags because she possesses such a great sense of style herself.

She definitely does not need some loud accessory to say who she is.  She has a particular refinement and sensibility about her.

I asked each of my friends to talk about their favorite Clutch Bag.  Misami chose the Scout Bag from Clutch Bags…the large brown leather satchel that has a drawstring closure.  She said that of all the collection of Clutch Bags, it most fit her needs for an all-purpose bag.  She said she loved the outside zip pocket, the shape and size, but most of all, the way the leather felt.  She said it was so soft and so easy to wear.

Needless to say, when talking with her on video, she expressed her thoughts clearly.  It was her first time being recorded on video, but she told me she enjoyed the experience and showing off with a cute purse.

It was almost dusk as we wrapped with Misami.  It was time for her to grab her bicycle and peddle back to Brooklyn in her sling back sandal wedge and meet her boyfriend for dinner.  Ciao to Misami and thank you.  She looks great on video and she looks great wearing the Scout Bag from Clutch Bags!  Made in USA!
