The Feed Bag from Clutch Bags NY

Ok, so if you have been following us on Facebook, you know that this week we are spotlighting the Hobo Bag Feed Bag  from  Clutch Bags NY.  So, the Clutch NY team decided we should write our own handbag review of the Feed Bag and talk about what goes into the design and production of this lovely leather purse. Sound good?  We think so.  So please follow along here.

Why was the Feed Bag designed?  Well, for starters, Laura Dotolo was inspired by the simple, easy feeling and access of this leather satchel.  It possesses a classic shape that is easy to wear and to carry. Adding to this is the bag’s easy in and out access.

All of the Clutch NY styles of  handbags are also designed “deflated”.  What we mean is that they are unconstructed handbags.  This would be the correct terminology, unconstructed handbags. When you carry them and fill them throughout your day, they expand and become more shapely, less organic and drapey.  The Feed Bags are another perfect example of this Clutch NY prototype.

This style of handbag also brought out the “horsewoman”  lady in Laura.  Her own personal style is definitely reflected in every style of leather handbag from the Clutch NY collection.  The Feed Bag is just another side of Laura’s dynamic style; it is an example of her country style that she grew up amongst.   The Clutch NY team also wanted to say that the choice of the fun swinging tassels on the outside are a big  part of the design of this leather handbag.  Laura chooses tumbled leathers for the Feed Bag from select leather resources here in the USA.  This particular leather gives the bag that special feeling that it has when you carry it. You can only know this when you buy the handbag and experience it.

So, where would we wear this leather hobo bag?  Well, for starters, this is an awesome bag to run out the door with, which means, take this handbag to work with you.  It looks great over your shoulder, and spices up any outfit you are sporting for the day.  It has a bit of bohemian in it with a style that touts, “cool chic”.  This handbag is great casual and is even better with a second bag, as the Feed is so easy to carry, you don’t feel as if you are carrying a bulky big bag. It is great over the shoulder over the shoulder of a weekend outfit, traveling or going out for the evening.  It weighs absolutely nothing and fits absolutely everything!

So. lets tell you what this handbag fits  inside of it, which can include an iPad, a scarf, a magazine, and any little item you pick up at the drug store on your way home.  This bag looks great if you head out to dinner after work. No worries, it looks chic, it has style.  It will make your day that much easier.
