Nelson Mandela Freedom

Nelson Mandela Freedom

                              Nelson Mandela Freedom

There is no passion to be found playing small – in settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living.  Nelson Mandela

Nelson Mandela freedom are two words that seem to be synonymous.  What more can I say?  They are actually not even two words anymore, but a way to describe a certain movement in freedom.   The world was a sad place last week when we lost a great icon.  As the press kept touting, South Africa is not sad that he has finally passed, as this was expected due to his illness, but sad that a legacy to this lifetime and world would now be gone for ever.  So what does this mean to the average person?  How does the Nelson Mandela freedom and his legacy affect our everyday lives?

I think this is a question all of us might be asking ourselves.  It is a time to think about what it means to be a human being on this planet and to achieve greatness. It is a time to turn inward and ponder what we as individuals can accomplish on this planet to make it a better place to live, a more fair and just planet for all to exist within.  It is a time to think about what it might mean to feel so much passion for what you believe in that it moves you. Possibly to feel so much passion  that you will sacrifice whatever it takes to make change happen.  These are some of the questions I have been asking myself this past week and even today, the day of the funeral for Nelson Mandela.

As I have listened on the radio to all the great leaders speak at the funeral for Nelson Mandela, I have become more aware of the magnitude of the lessons of his life.  After reading his quotes on perseverance and hope, I have come to understand more of what an icon looks and sounds like.  I have also come to understand how one person and their beliefs can truly make a difference.  Nelson Mandela was truly the conscience of South Africa.

So, on this day I continue my everyday life.  And within that life I hold my beliefs and I think of the life of Nelson Mandela freedom.  I think of my belief in my company Clutch NY, I think of my passion for Made in USA and for beautiful products and leather handbags which are made in this country.  I think of how my passion is helping to improve the lives of people by providing a good living and building the economy in a good way.  And I feel I am paying tribute to Nelson Mandela freedom and to a life worth learning from and putting into practice.

Have a Great Day!
